Waiver

Modified on Thu, 30 Nov, 2023 at 8:33 PM

Waivers are typically employed in various situations where potential risks or liabilities exist, such as recreational activities, sports events, beauty services and business transactions. The primary purpose of a waiver is to release one party from liability or responsibility for certain actions or events, with the explicit and voluntary agreement of the other party.

With Aionic you can set up a waiver for a location and it will manage the process automatically with customers.

How does it work?

  • Waiver content is stored in the Settings section, which can be updated at any time.
  • A waiver can be associated to one or more locations.
  • The waiver is not specific to services, it is presented for each booking.
  • In the customer booking process, the customer will be presented with the waiver to read and accept. They also have the ability to complete it later using the link provided in the booking confirmation.
  • For group bookings: If the customer has entered email addresses for the other guests they will be sent the booking confirmation and a link to the waiver.
  • The waiver status is captured on the customer profile and shown on the booking details on the calendar.
  • Once the customer has completed the waiver, they won't need to complete it again.
  • If there is a change in the waiver content, it will request all customers (new and existing) to read and accept the new waiver conditions.
