Step 6 - Add any existing bookings

It's important to add in any existing bookings you have for upcoming dates. This is to ensure that when you publish your site that these days and times can't be booked by someone else. There are three ways this can be done depending on whether you'd like to send email notifications to your customer and volume of bookings.

Option 1 - Create a new booking using a 100% coupon

  • Set up a new coupon that is for 100% discount, with no limit and connected to all services and sequence. (See manage coupons for more details)
  • Go to Home, click Add Booking and follow the process to create the booking for the service, date and time for the customer. At checkout enter the 100% coupon code and the customer details, you will need to provide an email and mobile number. Complete the checkout process. (See create a booking for more details)

This will create the booking and send notification to the customer. The customer is able to sign up for an account and their upcoming bookings will display.

Option 2 - Add a note with time blocking

  • Go to Home, click Add Note and complete the details for the date and time for the existing booking. Include the customers name and service in the Title field, and ensure you make a comment about whether or not payment is required in the description and include any other details such as phone number and/or email address. (See Calendar Notes for more details)

This will not create a record of the booking or send the customer a notification.

Option 3 - Bulk upload (recommended for large volumes)

  • You can complete a spreadsheet with the details of your existing bookings, contact the Aionic Support Team for more information.

Step 7 - Publish your site

Once you have completed all previous steps you are able to publish your site so that your customers can start making bookings.

  1. Click the Pending button in the top right hand corner.
  2. A pop up box will display and will show whether you have completed all the pre-requisites.
  3. If these are all ticked, click Publish.

Congratulations! You are now live and your customer can start making bookings.

Don't forget to update any links on your website or social media with the new URL for your booking site.
